Alex Barrett, Co Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Meroka, joins Evan McCann on The Hard Part podcast to talk about what it takes to build a company that empowers physicians to own their practices again. Alex is also the Co Founder and General Partner at Boon Fund, an investment firm built around operators backing operators.

Meroka’s mission is to make independent practice ownership the default path for physicians in every specialty. The company believes that care delivered in an independent setting produces better outcomes for patients at a lower cost. By removing the barriers that make ownership difficult, Meroka aims to help more physicians choose independence over employment and make healthcare personal again.
